Self-Sufficiency
The family Self-Sufficiency program assists families who have made a commitment to get the education and/or training they need to get a good job which will enable them to become self-sufficient. The Self-Sufficiency Coach assists each family in assessing their goals, strengths, and barriers and develops a plan for self-sufficiency. Some of the supportive services offered for those who qualify for the Self-Sufficiency program are as follows: tuition for education and/or training, uniforms/clothes for job search, job connections, child care, car repair, credit counseling, as well as self-sufficiency coaching and support.

WIA- Adult and Dislocated Worker
The goal for the WIA (Workforce Investment Act) program is to increase the employment, job retention and earnings of participants, and to increase occupational skills attainment by providing training services. Assistance is available for tuition, books, and supplies to attend the community colleges. Supportive services include transportation cost, car repairs, child care, clothing/uniforms or work related tools. Each participant will be assigned to a case manager who will be responsible for all services.
